- and right wing positions helped power the
- Canadiens to five Stanley Cup champion-
- ships, including four straight from 1976-79.
- Guy was the centerpiece of a Canadien team
- that embodied speed, grace, and clean play.

- In the 1976-77 season, he won the Hart
- Trophy (as league MVP), the Ross Trophy
- (as top scorer), and the Smythe Trophy (as
- playoff MVP). Over his career, Guy won three
- scoring titles, two MVP awards, and was
- selected to appear in the All-Star Game
- six times.
